Ok, so that green is HEEEEDEEOUS, but the rest of it is workable. And some of it is even ok (those stripey curtain things? Not bad!). But that green. Oh lord, that green. Painting party, ahoy!!
Yes! yes they are -- we took the curtains down but like the geniuses we are, we didn't bring them inside. I think a good washing in hot water and they'll be fine.
The green would have looked fine as an accent wall or in a small room. For example, accenting the wall with the modern shelves and painting the others walls another color might have been cool. But painting the whole place that color was a bad idea. Plus,it doesn't match the funiture, which is ugly and needs a serious update. It's like bachelor funiture.
For someone who wants to put so little effort into moving and decorating, you can sure put a lot of effort into complaining! While it may not be your taste, nothing there is too permanent to change. They should repair your floors, but the rest of it you signed up for. They did their best, I actually think some things are pretty cute, and next time if you have such specific tastes, perhaps you should channel some of that energy into doing it the way you want...the first time.

I think I saw this house before in Boogie Nights. I do, however, like your little deck area! thats pretty darn cute.
